WCMD - Card & Tag

Het is World Card Making Day. Je kan vandaag overal uitdagingen vinden, met vaak mooie prijzen. Het design team van Odd Bird Planet heeft ook een hoop uitdagingen klaar. Je kan alle uitdagingen hier vinden. Ik heb alvast gekozen voor de uitdaging van Godelieve : Card & Tag.

Op de WCMD had ik deelgenomen aan de drie "Shabby Chic" uitdagingen van Kim.
Daarom heeft ze me een pakketje gestuurd, met deze vogel stempel van Justjohanna in. Heel erg bedankt, Kim! Ik gebruikte Susan's sketch als inspiratie voor deze kaart.

At the WCMD, I participatedat the three "Shabby Chic" challenges from Kim. Because of that, she sended me a package with this Justjohanna bird and a lot more. Thank a lot Kim! Susan's sketch inspired me for this card.

Mijn laatste bijdrage aan het WCMD is voor de uitdaging van Teresa : gebruik geprinte tekst.
De achtergronden die ik een tijdje geleden maakten uit het boek dat ik op de rommelmarkt kocht, kwamen hier goed van pas!
Ik wil bij deze ook nog de mensen van WCMD bedanken voor de fijne organisatie!

My final contribution for the WCMD is for Teresa's challenge : use printed text.
The backgrounds, which I made a while ago from a book I bought on a flee market, where very welcome.
I also want to thank the people of WCMD for the nice organisation!

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Kathi's uitdaging.

My contribution for Kathi's challenge. (Prettige feestdagen = seasonal greetings)

WCMD - Shabby Chic One,Two & Three

Ik vond Kim's uitdagingen zo leuk, dat ik ze maar alledrie deed!
I loved Kim's challenges so much, I did them all three.

Eerste uitdaging : Maak een "shabby chic", antieke tag
First challenge : create a "shabby chic", antiqued tag


Tweede uitdaging : Probeer te stikken! Als je geen stikmachine hebt, gebruik bloemenpapier en alleen een sentiment om je kaart te maken.
Gezien ik geen stikmachine heb, heb ik maar de "Faux stitching" techniek toegepast

Second challenge : Try sewing! If you don't have access to a sewing machine then go for using floral paper and only a sentiment to create your card.
Because I don't have a sewing machine, I used the "Faux stitching" technique.

WCMD - Faux Stitching

Goedemorgen allemaal. Hier in België is het momenteel 8:30u. Tijd voor een nieuwe uitdaging. Hier is mijn bijdrage voor Tracy's uitdaging "Faux Stitching". Stempels zijn van Stampingback en ik gebruikte distress inkt.

Good morning everybody. Here in Belgium, it's 8:30am. Time to get on going. Here's my contribution for Tracy's challenge "Faux Stitching". Stamps are Stampingback and I used distress inkt.

WCMD - Sparkle & Shine

Voor Marnie's uitdaging heb ik voor het eerst Iridescent Medium gebruikt. Je kan het op de foto niet zo goed zien, maar het geeft een glitter-effect aan de sterren en de sneeuw.

For Marnie's challenge I have used Iridescent Medium for the first time. You can't see it very well on the picture, but it makes the stars and snow glitter.

WCMD - use felt or fabric

Mijn bijdrage voor Emily's uitdaging. De sneeuwman en de sneeuwvlokjes (EK succes) zijn gemaakt van vilt.

My contribution to Emily's challenge. The snowman and snowflakes (EK succes) are made of felt.

WCMD - 3 or more different stamped items

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Julie's uitdaging : gebruik minstens 3 verschillende stempels. Ik heb 6 verschillende stempels gebruikt. Alle stempels zijn van Purple Onion Design en alles werd met distress inkt gemaakt.

Here's my contribution for Julie's challenge : 3 or more different stamped items. I used 6 different stamps. Alle stamps are Purple Onion Design and I used distress ink.

WCMD - Monochromatic

Voor de uitdaging van Godelieve, mag je maar één kleur gebruiken, ik koos voor goud.
For Godelieve's challenge, you can use only one color. I used gold.

WCMD - One Layer Cards

Op Tracy Durcan's blog kan je de eerste challenge voor WCMD vinden : "One Layer Cards".
Ik maakte mijn bijdrage met distress inkt. Stempels zijn van JustJohanna en Verschooten.
Ik stempelde eerste de tak en de vogel, maskeerde dit en dan de tekst "Orange du Coeur".

I made my contribution with distress inkt. Stamps are JustJohanna and Verschooten.
I first stamped the tree and the bird, I masked it and then I stamped the text 'Orange du Coeur".
