Artzy Girlz : Favorite Medium

De uitdaging bij Artzy Girls deze week is je favoriete medium. Voor mij is de embossings poeder. Ik vind het zalig om het te zien smelten en het resultaat is altijd prachtig.

This weeks challenge at Artzy Grilz is Favorite medium. I love to work with embossing powder. I love when you see it melting and the result is always gorgeous.

Hi pumpkin

Op Artzy Girlz, is de uitdaging van de week, geen Paterned Paper te gebruiken. Met deze kaart wil ik laten zien, dat een gewone witte achtergrond ook mooi kan zijn. De pompoen is ingekleurd met distress inkt.

The Artzy Girlz challenge of this week is not to use Paterned Paper. With this card, I wanted to show that just a white background can be beautiful. The pumpkin is collored with distress ink.

Spring is in the air

Toen ik vanmorgen op de blog van Godelieve een geweldige tip vond om zelf "prima bloemetjes" te maken, moest ik dit natuurlijk uitproberen. En aan wat doen bloemen je denken? Aan de lente natuurlijk. Op het forum van Justjohanna, kan je regelmatig meedoen aan een virtuele swap. Deze keer is de lente het onderwerp. En bij Artzy Girls is het thema deze keer "doodling". Ik heb de twee uitdagingen samen gebracht.

This morning I saw a great link on Godelieve's blog. It's about making "prima flowers" yourself. I just had to try this. And flowers make me think about spring. On the Justjohanna forum, you can participate in a virutale swap. This time the theme is "spring is in the air". And at Artzy Girls the theme is now "doodling". So I mixed the two challenges.

Arty Girlz

Deze week is bij Arty Girlz het thema : stempelen! Is dat een moeilijk thema *lol*. Mijn bijdrage is gemaakt met Justjohanna stempels.

This week theme at Arty Girlz : stamping! What a difficult theme *lol*. My contribution is stamped with Justjohanna stamps.

Verjaardags Folder

Deze folder heb ik gemaakt om al m'n verjaardagskaartjes die ik gekregen heb in te bewaren.
Ik kwam op het idee, toen ik de uitdaging bij Artzy Girlz van deze week zag : Pockets.
Ik heb gewone witte enveloppes hiervoor gebruikt en één vel Basic Grey papier.

This folder I made to keep all my birthday cards I got. The idea I've got from the Artzy Girlz challenge of this week : Pockets. I use regular white enveloppes and one piece of Basic Grey paper.

Aquarium

Sinds ik bij Emilia ooit haar Chicklet café zag, heb ik met dit idee gespeeld : een aquarium van Justjohanna visjes. Op Artzy Girlz, is het thema "dieren" en op Tuesday Challenge "Inchies", hoewel het niet helemaal een inchie is...

Ik nam een doorkijk doosje van Artemio bloemen.

I took a box from Artemio flowers.

Eerst heb ik de achtergrond gemaakt met "Broken China" distress inkt.
First I made the background with "Broken China" distress ink.

De kwal kleurde ik in met wat iridescent medium om het gel-effect te bekomen.
The Jellyfish, I colored with iridescent medium, for the jelly-effect.

De andere visjes, zijn ingekleurd met kleurpotloden.
The other fishes are colored with pencils.

Dan alles met 3-D plakband gelijmd.
At the end, everything glued with 3-D foam.

Nieuwe challenge-blog : ISMAKI

Een nieuw jaar, brengt ook niewe challenge blogs mee. ISMAKI is daar één van. Ze starten met een prachtige sketch-challenge. Wil je ook meedoen, hieronder kun je alvast de sketch bekijken. Gothic Arch

Nu op "Wednesdays Stampers" het thema "Gothic Arch" loopt, heb ik me ook maar eens aan dit formaat gewaagd. En ik vond het heel leuk! Bij "Artzy Girlz", was het thema dan weer "Embossing". Hiervoor gebruikte ik m'n nieuwe "Distress embossingpowder", die ik met kerst kreeg. Ik heb een chipboard swirl helemaal ingewreven met Versamark en dan bedekt met de Distress embossingspowder. Bij "Tracy's Happy Place" kan je meedoen met een RAK-challenge als je nieuwe spullen gebruikt die je met kerst hebt gekregen...

On "Wednesdays Stampers" is the theme this week : "Gothic Arch". So I did the first time this format and I liked it! At "Artzy Girlz", is it this week : "Embossing". I used my brand new "Distress embossingpowder", which I got with christmas. I first covered the chipboard swirl with Versamark and then I covered it with the Distress embossingpowder. At "Tracy's Happy Place" you can join a RAK-challenge if you used new stuff...
