WCMD - Christmas card

Philippa daagt ons uit om een kerstkaart te maken. De stempels zijn met goud geëmbossed.

Welke jongens houden niet van auto's? Bij Theme Thursday is deze week het thema : transportation. Ik maakte gebruik van distress inkten en Basic Grey papier. De stempels zijn van Stamp-a-dream.

Make a MOO : Vriendschap

Bij "Make a moo or two" is deze week het thema : vriendschap. Hier heb ik gebruik gemaakt van een foto-stempel van stamp-a-dream en de woordjes komen van Hero Arts. Het geheel is ingekleurd met chalks van Pebbles.

This weeks theme at "Make a moo or two" is : friendship. I used a photo-stamp of stam-a dream and the words are Hero Arts. Everything is colored with chalks from Pebbles.

Driehoeken mini-album

Na het maken van de zeshoekige mini-album, had ik de smaak te pakken van de driehoeken! Ik maakte een mini-album met een combinatie van gewone vierkante en driehoekige pagina's.

Afther making the hexagonal mini-album, I couldn't stop with the triangles! I made a mini-album with a combination of just square and triangle pages.

Kerstkaart

Wie dacht dat ik gestopt was met kerstkaarten maken...
Geïnspireerd door de challenges van Theme Thursday en Saturday Stampers van deze week, een minder traditionele kerstkaart. Zowel de rand van de foto als de stempels zijn goud geëmbossed. De foto vond ik op de blog van Vintagestamper.

Inspired by the challenges on Theme Thursday and Saturday Stampers this week, a less traditional christmascard. The edge of the photo and the stamps are gold embossed. The photo I found on Vintagestamper's blog.

ATC

Nog een ATC-tje gemaakt voor een swap. ATC's zijn handig om restjes op te werken. Deze afdruk had ik liggen van een ander project. Het was toen een overschotje, maar komt nu handig van pas. De "Hello" is van het "Girls are weird" alfabet van "Purple Onion Design". Die doen touwens tot 9 december een 25% sale op al hun stempels!

4x4 - Faux Postage

Deze week is bij 4x4 Friday het thema 'Faux Postage'. Ik bewerkte te sterren met Iridescent Medium om een glitter effect te bekomen. De postzegels haalde ik uit de kit "Written and printed" van Kim De Smet.

This weeks theme at 4x4 Friday is 'Faux Postage'. I put Iridescent Medium on the stars to make them glitter. The stamps I got from the "Written and printed" kit from Kim De Smet.

WCMD - Printed text

Mijn laatste bijdrage aan het WCMD is voor de uitdaging van Teresa : gebruik geprinte tekst.
De achtergronden die ik een tijdje geleden maakten uit het boek dat ik op de rommelmarkt kocht, kwamen hier goed van pas!
Ik wil bij deze ook nog de mensen van WCMD bedanken voor de fijne organisatie!

WCMD - Sparkle & Shine

Voor Marnie's uitdaging heb ik voor het eerst Iridescent Medium gebruikt. Je kan het op de foto niet zo goed zien, maar het geeft een glitter-effect aan de sterren en de sneeuw.

For Marnie's challenge I have used Iridescent Medium for the first time. You can't see it very well on the picture, but it makes the stars and snow glitter.

Gelukkige verjaardag

Dit kaartje maakte ik voor een jarige collega. Ik gebruikte de boekpagina's, die ik onlangs bewerkte met distress-inkt. De "post"-stempel is van AudDesign, de grote stempel is van Stamp-a-dream.

I made this card for the birthday of a colleague. I used the bookpages, I made a while ago with distress-ink. the "post"-stamp is AudDesign, the bigger stamp is Stamp-a-dream.

De uitdaging deze week op Wednesday Stamper is "HATS". Ik had nog een overschotje liggen van de "Stamp-a-dream day". De achtergronden zijn gemaakt met distress inkt, de stempel is van Stamp-A-Dream.

Nieuwe Vlaamse Stempelgroep

Onlangs ging de eerste Vlaamse stempeldag door, ingericht door Martie van Stamp-A-Dream. Nu heeft Martie op Yahoogroups ook een Vlaamse stempelgroep gemaakt. Wil je dus kennismaken met andere Vlaamse stempeldames en -heren (zijn die er wel?), schrijf je dan in op : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/stampingdreams/

Dank-je-wel-boekje Juf Esther

Binnen twee weken zit de kleuterschool er op voor m'n oudste zoontje. Volgend jaar zet hij de stap naar de "grote school". In de kleuterschool heeft hij drie jaar lang dezelfde juf gehad. Het moment dus voor een bedankje. Het is een bedank-boekje geworden. Dit boekje komt uit een workshop van de stamp-a-dream day.

Another two weeks and my eldest son finishes the kindergarten. Next year he takes the step to primary school. Three years long, Miss Esther was his teacher. So it’s the moment for a thank-you. I made a thank-you-minibook. I started working on this little book at the workshop on the stamp-a-dream day.

Stamp_a_dream Day

Vandaag naar de Stamp-a-dream day geweest. Het was echt super! Twee hele toffe, interessante workshops gedaan. Voor het resultaat van de eerste workshop zullen jullie nog wat geduld moeten hebben. Het mini-boekje dat we daar maakten heeft nog wat afwerking nodig ;-)
Maar het resultaat van de tweede workshop kunnen jullie nu reeds zien.
Uiteraard leverde deze dag ook nog wat nieuwe stempels en inkten op. Maar het allerspannendste was wel om Linda, Ilse, Anja en Martie "in real life" te ontmoeten.
Bij deze wil ik Martie nog eens hartelijk danken voor deze geweldige dag!

Today I went to the Stamp-a-dream day. It was really great! I did two very nice and interesting workshops. For the results of the first workshop, please be patient. The mini-book I made needs a few finishing touches ;-)

Off course I also bought some new stamps and inks. But the most exciting part of the day was a “real life” meeting with Linda, Ilse, Anja and Martie.
I want to say an other big thank you to Martie to organise these great day!
