Justjohanna Earth Day - Eat Fresh

Philippa's uitdaging is om een kaart te maken met vers voedsel op. Deze Parijse kippen hebben blijkbaar nog niet veel vers voedsel gezien.

Philippa's challenge is to make a card with fresh food on it. This Paris hens didn't see much fresh food, I think.

Justjohanna Earth Day - Coffee sleeves

Emilia's uitdaging is om koffie filters te gebruiken. Ik heb de stempels ingekleurd met Derwente coloursoft potloden, die ik onlangs in Zeist gekocht heb.

Emilia's challenge is to use coffee sleeves. I colored the stamps with Derwente Coloursoft pencils, which I bought at Zeist.

Justjohanna Earth Day - Organic stamping

Mandy's uitdaging is om voedsel te gebruiken om te stempelen. Ik gebruikte een pasta spirelli om in de achtergrond golven te maken. Ik kleurde de kwallen eerst met wit in en dan met Iridescent Medium om hen "jelly" te doen lijken. De achtergrond is gemaakt met distress inkt "faded jeans" en "broken china".

Mandy's challenge is to do some stamping with food. I used a pasta spirelli to make some waves in the background. I colord the jellyfishes white and put some Iridescent Medium on it to make them look "jelly". The background is made with distress ink "faded jeans" and "broken china".

Justjohanna Earth Day - Newspaper

Vandaag is het zo ver! Het is Justjohanna Earth Day Celebration. Een dag vol uitdagingen op het Justjohanna forum. Dit is mijn eerste deelname. De uitdaging van Kim is om krantenpapier te gebruiken in je werk.

Today is the day! It's Justjohanna Earth Day Celebration. A whole day of challenges on the Justjohanna forum. This is my first participation. Kim 's challenge is to use newspaper in your work.

Hero Arts - Birds

Op de blog van Hero Arts loopt er deze week een uitdaging rond "Birds". Als je geen Bird-stempel hebt, geen probleem. Je kan meedoen door een Bird-template te downloaden. Dat heb ik ook gedaan. Ik heb de template uit acetaat geknipt en de vogel gestempeld met Stazon White Opaque.

On the Hero Arts blog is this week a challenge about "Birds". If you don't have a Bird-stamps, no problem. You can participate by downloading their Bird-template. I also have done that. I cut out the template of acetat and stamped the bird with Stazon White Opaque.

Nog een nieuwe aanwinst

Een kaartje gemaakt met m'n nieuwe aanwinst uit Zeist. Deze stempels komen van de Art Journey kit : gorgeous kids. De achtergrond is gemaakt met de chalking techniek, die je op Elke's blog kunt vinden.

Olifanten

In Zeist heb ik deze geweldige olifantenstempel van Magenta gevonden. Als je dan weet dat mijn jongste zoon gek is op olifanten, kun je je wel voorstellen, dat ik hem lief moet vragen of mama ook eens met deze stempel mag stempelen ;-)

De kaart is bewerkt met paint dabbers. Ik heb in Zeist een demonstratie van Isa gezien, dat je met de metallic paint dabbers structuur kunt brengen. Op de foto is dit wel niet zo goed te zien. De olifanten en de kader zijn gestempeld met Versafin onyx black en dan met clear geëmbossed.

I found this wonderful elephantstamp of Magenta at Zeist. If you know that my youngest son is crazy about elephants, you can imagine, that I had to ask him very friendly if mama also could use this stamp ;-)

The card is made with paint dabbers. At Zeist I saw on a demonstration of Isa , you can bring structure with metallic paint dabbers. You can't see it very well on the picture. The elephant is stamped with Versafin onys black and clear embossed.

Vakantie

Na een weekje vakantie en een dagje naar het stempel event in Zeist, is het hoog tijd om terug aan de slag te gaan. Met mijn nieuwe buit van Zeist, is dat zeker niet moeilijk ;-) Maar ik ben toch makkelijk begonnen met twee ATC's. Ik vind ATC's handig om nieuwe stempels en technieken uit te proberen.

Afther a week of holidays and a day at the stamping event at Zeist, it's time to get back at work. With my new stamps and stuff I bought at Zeist, it's not so difficult ;-) But I started easily with two ATC's. ATC's are easy to try out new stamps and techniques.

Op deze ATC heb ik de "water resist" of hoe-je-het-ook-mag-noemen techniek uitgeprobeerd. Bovenaan de ATC zie je wat witte bloemetjes en takjes, deze zijn gestempeld met water. Het water neemt de inkt er terug af.

At this ATC I tried the "water resist" or I-don't-know-how-you-call-this technique. At the top of the ATC, you can see white flowers and branches, these are stamped with water. The water takes off the ink.

Op de tweede ATC heb ik mijn nieuwe Derwente potloden uitgeprobeerd. Dat wordt toch nog veel oefenen!

At the second ATC I tried my new Derwente pencils. I need some more excercise!

WS : Purple

Op Wednesday Stamper is de uitdaging deze week : PAARS. Deze muzikanten is één van mijn lievelingsstempels van Justjohanna. En ik vind dat paars hen prachtig staat.

On Wednesday Stamper this weeks challenge is : PURPLE. These drummers are one of my favorite stamps of Justjohanna. And I think they look very well in purple.

Spring is in the air

Toen ik vanmorgen op de blog van Godelieve een geweldige tip vond om zelf "prima bloemetjes" te maken, moest ik dit natuurlijk uitproberen. En aan wat doen bloemen je denken? Aan de lente natuurlijk. Op het forum van Justjohanna, kan je regelmatig meedoen aan een virtuele swap. Deze keer is de lente het onderwerp. En bij Artzy Girls is het thema deze keer "doodling". Ik heb de twee uitdagingen samen gebracht.

This morning I saw a great link on Godelieve's blog. It's about making "prima flowers" yourself. I just had to try this. And flowers make me think about spring. On the Justjohanna forum, you can participate in a virutale swap. This time the theme is "spring is in the air". And at Artzy Girls the theme is now "doodling". So I mixed the two challenges.

WS - In my garden

Bij Wednesday Stamper is de uitdaging deze week "In my garden". Deze 10x10 kaart is mijn bijdrage. Het vogeltje is van Justjohanna, de andere stempels van Purple Onion Design. Alles werd gestempeld met distress inkt.

Nog een kaartje gemaakt met Parijs als thema. Deze keer heb ik me laten inspireren door de Justjohanna sketch van maart. Alle stempels zijn ook van Justjohanna.

Er is nu ook een challenge-blog voor Magnolia ATC's : Tilda and friends ATC challenge. Het thema deze week is "In the pink". Dit Magnoliaatje leek me daar juist geschikt voor.

A stamp in a stamp

Jacqueline heeft op haar sketch-blog een leuke uitdaging staan : "Een stempel in een stempel". Bij mij is het meer een stempel OP een stempel geworden. Maar ik hoop dat jullie het zo ook leuk vinden. Bedankt Jacqueline voor deze leuke uitdaging!

Theme Thursday - Paris

Met Paris als thema deze week op Theme Thursday, moest ik iets doen natuurlijk! Iedereen die mij kent, weet dat ik gek ben op Parijs. Het is een vintage ATC geworden.

With the theme Paris this week on Theme Thursday, I had to do something! Everybody who knows me, knows I'm crazy about Paris. It became a vintage ATC.

Happy birthday

Ik had nog "Tattered Rose" achtergrond over. Heb er een verjaardagskaart met gemaakt. De bloem is geëmbossed met holografisch embossingpoeder.

I still has some left over from the "Tattered Rose" background. I made a birthdaycard with it. The flower is embossed with holographic embossingpowder.

A little bird told me...

Achtergronden gemaakt met distress inkt "Tattered rose". De stempel van het vogeltje twee keer afgedrukt. Eén keer op de distress achtergrond en één keer op de cardstock. De stempel is van G-studio.

Fly 2

Toen ik enige tijd geleden deze ATC's had gemaakt, vond mijn DH deze zo mooi, dat hij iets gelijkaardigs wou om op te hangen in onze woonkamer! Zo'n kans liet ik niet liggen natuurlijk ;-) De vogelstempels zijn van Justjohanna.

A while ago, when I made these ATC's, my DH loved them so much, he wanted something like them for our living room! A chance, I took with both hands of course ;-) The birdstamps are from Justjohanna.
